2011/12 Team Kratos Program Registration
Registration for the 2011/12 season is now underway.

FALL: Team Kratos Introduction to Wrestling (K-8th)
- 4 Weeks
- Lead Instructor: Team Kratos Coaching Staff
- Dates: Oct 4th - Oct 27th, 2011
- Tues/Thurs Evenings from 6-7:30pm
- Designed for athletes in grades K-8th, this four week program introduces participants to the sport of wrestling. Over a series of eight, 1.5 hour sessions, participants are exposed to basic wrestling skills and techniques. The rate of instruction is specifically geared to accommodate 1st year wrestlers. At the end of the eight session program, participants who have an interest in continuing their wrestling development are encouraged to register for the Team Kratos Novice Youth Wrestling Program.
FALL: Team Kratos Preseason Wrestling Training (K-8th)
- 4 Weeks
- Lead Instructor: Team Kratos Coaching Staff
- Dates: Oct 4th - Oct 27th, 2011
- Tues/Thurs Evenings from 6-7:30pm
- This course is a must for any wrestler who wants to jump-start his/her season. Designed for athletes in grades K – 8th grade with at least 1 year of prior wrestling experience. Instructors will conduct medium-paced review of basic wrestling skills and techniques to include takedowns, riding, pinning, escapes and reversals over a period of four weeks. Practices are held weeknights at Hudson High School wrestling room.
WINTER: Introduction to Wrestling (Session II) (K-6th)
- 8 Weeks
- Lead Instructors: Team Kratos Coaching Staff
- Dates: November 3rd, 2011 through January 19th, 2012
- Tues, Thursday evenings from 6-7:30pm
- Designed for kids in grades K-6th, this eight week program introduces participants to the sport of wrestling at a pace specifically designed for 1st year wrestlers. A mix of technique instruction, drills and activities/games are used to provide a basic orientation.
WINTER: Team Kratos Novice Youth Wrestling Program (K-6th)
- 16 Weeks
- Lead Instructors: Team Kratos Coaching Staff
- Dates: November 3rd, 2011 through March 1st, 2012
- Tues, Thursday evenings from 6-8pm
- Designed for kids in grades K-6th, this 16 week program is geared for entry level wrestlers who are interested in building and broadening their basic understanding of wrestling skills and techniques. The intensity of this program is slightly higher then the Introduction to Wrestling program. Participants have an opportunity to compete in local area weekend matches and novice tournaments against wrestlers of similar ability.
WINTER: Team Kratos Advanced Youth Wrestling Program
- 20 Weeks
- Lead Instructors: Team Kratos Coaching Staff
- Dates: November 1st, 2011 through March 15th 2012
- Participants practice 3 nights per week
- Mon, Tues, Thursday evenings from 6-8pm
- Designed for the serious athlete in grades K-6th, this 20 week program is recommended for the advanced wrestler who has at least one year of previous wrestling. This program provides advanced skill instruction, high intensity drilling and tough physical conditioning. The objective of this program is to train and mentor future STATE CHAMPIONS. Coaches reinforce skill development through use of video recording equipment and guest instructors from various local colleges and high school programs. Participants are provided ample opportunities to test their mettle against seasoned wrestlers from neighboring youth wrestling programs in dual match formats as well as compete in open wrestling tournament to include the Grade School Districts/States Wrestling Championships.
LATE WINTER: Tournament Training Program (7th/8th Grade)
- Dates: Feb 1st 2011 through March 18th 2011 (weekly, Mon,Tues, Thurs), 6pm-8pm
- Designed for athletes in grades 7th-8th. High-Intensity practices suited to wrestlers who are desire to compete and win at the highest levels of junior high wrestling competitions
